Our Mission

- To provide a place where each child starts to learn to control his/her emotions, leading to self-discipline.
- To provide a place where active learning is on-going - - where a child can develop an awareness of the world he/she lives in.
- To provide a place to open new horizons, explore, and wonder!
Lake Harriet UM Preschool is a nonprofit educational organization of Lake Harriet United Methodist Church (www.lakeharrietumc.org) The administration of the school is provided by the Co-Directors and the Preschool Board. Serving as Co-Directors are Heidi Caskey and Nicolle Rockhold.
We are a licensed, accredited half-day preschool program offering both a morning and afternoon session Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Program specifics are available on our Program page.

Registration
Applications for the 2012-2013 school year are now being accepted. The deadline for applications from currently enrolled families and members of LHUMC was December 31st. The deadline for families new to the preschool was January 31st to be part of our random selection process. We continue to accept applications for our wait list. More information is available on our Enrollment page.
