General Enrollment Information:

We are pleased that you are considering enrolling your child in Lake Harriet UM Preschool. Our Enrollment Process is explained here. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

2012 - 2013 Application Information
  • Currently enrolled families and members of Lake Harriet UM Church - applications were due by December 31, 2011 to hold a spot for the 2012-2013 school year. Applications are available from the Preschool, the website or the outside the church office.  Please speak with Heidi or Nicolle if you have not submitted an application but wish to enroll your child for 12-13.
  • Families new to Lake Harriet UM Preschool - applications for the 2012-2013 school year were due by January 31, 2012 to be part of our random selection process.
  • We continue to accept applications for the 2012-2013 school year with your child being placed on our wait list.  We enroll students from our wait list through out the summer.
  • Tours are available during the school year by scheduled appointment only. Please call or email us to schedule.

Enrollment Process Guidelines

Applications
  • Applications for Enrollment can be picked up at the preschool or downloaded from this site (see below). The application may be dropped off or mailed to 4901 Chowen Av. S., Minneapolis 55410.
  • A check for $50 must accompany each application. If sending in more than one application for your family, one check may be sent for the appropriate amount.
  • We will send you an email to verify that we have received your application. If you have not received it within 2 weeks, please call 612-926-8043.

Eligibility

Child must be 3 years old before September 1st and must be fully toilet trained.  Children enrolled in Kindergarten may not be enrolled in Lake Harriet UM Preschool.

Enrollment

A random selection process occurs in February for families new to Lake Harriet UM Preschool and families are notified prior to end of February of either acceptance or wait list status.

Currently Enrolled Families

All currently enrolled children (2011-2012) must have completed copies of our Enrollment Forms on file with the Preschool. Please click here if you need copies of the forms.
If you need to update the information during the school year, please download the form you need and submit it to your child's teacher.
