Hello!

 

My name is Janet Bomar and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher at Lake Harriet United Methodist Preschool!

 

I was born and raised in Massachusetts then headed to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where I earned my BA in political science. My husband and I lived in South Carolina and then North Carolina (both of our children were born there) before moving to Minneapolis in 2010. My husband Ben, our two children, Anna and Sam (both LHUMP graduates), and our dog, Pep, live in the Kenny neighborhood of Minneapolis. Anna is in eleventh grade at Southwest High School and Sam is in eight grade at Anthony Middle School. In my free time I love to read, bake, visit with friends and family, and play soccer.
